The City of Toulon set be between Marseille and Saint Tropez, with its magnificent natural harbour, is sited between the sea and Mount Faron the massive limestone mountain towering over the City. Toulon has a strong Naval history and is still a large military port which manages to exist along side the beauty and heritage of Toulon, complimenting, rather than distracting from it. Within 15 minutes walk from Toulon are the beaches of Mourillon with many cafes, restaurants, children’s play areas, water sports and gardens. Among the villages surrounding the bay is the ancient town of La Garde, Le Revest-les-Eaux, Saint-Mandrier and Les Sablettes.
