Baudinard is a village close to the entrance of the Verdon canyons and close to the largest of the Verdon lakes, Lake St Croix. Because of its interesting history and amazing natural environment Baudinard is one of Verdon’s treasures. Finds from the prehistoric caves of Baumes (closed to the public) are exhibit at the archeological museum in Quinson
The village has beautiful old houses many with vaulted cellars and interior wells once used to collect rainwater, together with vaulted passages all of great historical interest to visitors.
The canyon of Baudinard is a must to visit. Turquoise water lined with high cliffs.
Activities include horseback riding, walking, bike riding, climbing and water sports. Local crafts include leather, pottery and sculpture.
