High Speed Train (TGV) offer direct access to the region in less than 4 hours from Paris.
By Motorway from the UK:
The network of French motorways is of a very high quality. The A6 Auto route toll road (peage) is recommended. Lyon is the best route to follow to the south. When you get to Lyon take the east side on the A46 then join the A7 towards Marseille. Pick up the A8 at Aix en Provence east towards St Raphael and Nice then depending on your destination either follow signs to St Tropez or Toulon.
